“Liceu” joins the Global Money Week with a conference on Financial Literacy

 Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz joins Global Money Week (GMW), an international initiative promoted annually, starting in 2020, by the non-profit organization Child and Youth Finance International, with the support of several international entities, including the Secretary-General of the United Nations, which aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance of financial issues. This year, GMW takes place between the 18th and 24th of March, under the motto “Protect your money, secure your future”.

To this end, the teachers at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz, Dulce Jorge and Susana Guimarães, will organize a conference on the theme “Financial Literacy”, on March 19th, at 3 pm, in the Dr Jorge Moreira de Sousa conference room, promoted by the Education department of Câmara Municipal do Funchal.
