Emergency situations

In case of emergency, there can be two situations:

1 Evacuation:

What is it?

Transfer outside a group of people affected by an emergency, in a planned manner and to a safe place (meeting point).

When is it done?

Whenever there is a risk that comes from inside the school.

2 Shelter:

What is it?

It means locking yourself away in a safe place inside the school.

When is it done?

Whenever there is a risk that comes from outside the school.

Examples: Floods, Chemical accident, Forest fire

Why is a Prevention and Emergency Plan important?

Although it arises from the application of the law, it becomes, in practice, a tool with a strong operational component, a guide, a “living” document of procedures for the various risk situations particular to each school, and must be shared with the entire school community.
