Conference “Energy and Food Supplements – Risks and Benefits”

As part of the events scheduled to mark the “European Sports Week”, at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz, the Physical Education teachers end the week with a conference on the topic, “Energy and Food Supplements – Risks and Benefits”, which brings together a diverse range of speakers to debate an up-to-date topic, especially among younger people.

The different perspectives, the vision and experience of Dr. Rui Almeida (Sports Medicine doctor), Dr. Rodrigo Silva (Educational and Sports psychologist) and nutritionist Dr. Miguel Vieira, raise expectations for a session aimed not only at students and the entire school community, but also at athletes, sports agents and parents.
