Conference and Practical Activity at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz on “Fire Prevention and How to Act in a Fire?”

On November 11,12 and 21, at Escola Secundária de Jaime Moniz, at 3 pm, in the Dr. Jorge Moreira de Sousa Conference Room, the Conference “Fire Prevention and How to Act in the event of a Fire?” will take place, carried out by Miguel Dinis and João Figueira, from Bombeiros Voluntários Madeirenses. After the lecture, a practical activity will take place in the school gardens.
This activity is promoted by the Physics and Chemistry teachers and is aimed at students in year10 of the scientific-humanistic science and technology courses. The in initiative aims to: know safety rules in the laboratory, know how to prevent the occurrence of fires, and know how to act in the event of a fire.
