“Make-A-Wish” solidarity activity creates human star to spread hope
The Coordinators of The Extracurricular Activities, promoted the solidarity activity “Make-A-Wish”, which takes place annually at the Jaime Moniz Secondary School. The exciting initiative is an organization that brings together dozens of volunteers, a combination of teachers, students, non-teaching staff and guardians, in a remarkable event that combines altruism and creativity. Liceu Jaime Moniz thus joins “Make-A-Wish”, an international, non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children and young people with serious medical conditions, bringing joy and hope to their lives. The solidarity event, which takes place between the months of November and December, reinforces the importance of teamwork and empathy to transform realities.
The Coordinators of Curricular Complement and Enrichment Activities, Carla Rodrigues and Teresa Rodrigues de Almeida, express their deepest gratitude to all teachers, students and the educational community who were involved in this Christmas campaign.
