Workshop “Improvisation, Communication and Theatrical Expression

The Coordinators of Extracurricular Activities at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz, and in line with this academic year's motto, "Inspire, Communicate, and Transform," organized a workshop on Improvisation, Communication, and Theatrical Expression, which was held on November 6. The workshop was led by teacher Vanda Caixas, coordinator of the theater club O Moniz. The event, which took place in the Dr. Jorge Moreira Conference Room, featured class 10º30 as the main "actors" of the event.

Aimed at promoting spontaneity, creativity and interaction, through theatrical techniques, teacher Vanda Caixas managed to capture students' participation and interest, as well as improve their communication and expression skills in an inspiring and collaborative environment.

According to the Coordinators Carla Rodrigues and Teresa Rodrigues de Almeida, during the workshop, participants had the opportunity to experience various contexts, games, and improvisation exercises that encouraged adaptability, harmony with peers, and effective communication. The aim was not only to strengthen self-confidence but also to awaken each participant's creative potential, making their expression more authentic and free.

At the end of the session, the students reflected on the importance of holding the Workshop, noting that it was not only important for personal and academic development, but also because it constituted an excellent opportunity to delve into the universe of theatrical improvisation, allowing them to escape the sphere of the classroom environment. of class.
