Meeting of International Students at “Liceu” with simultaneous translation

Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz is attentive to the reality of international students who attend the school. From the perspective of an inclusive school, “Liceu” wants to fully guide the students that Madeira welcomes, supporting them in the various aspects of their integration, which is why it held the 1st Meeting of International Students yesterday.

It is worth mentioning the fact that the session was translated into English and Spanish by the most advanced level students.

Another relevant fact was the presence of three guardians at the Meeting, in a necessary and fruitful interaction between the school and parents.

The school principal, Ana Isabel Freitas, opened the Meeting and gave words of encouragement and support to international students, because, as an inclusive school, the institution's doors are open to students to help them define life projects.

This event, promoted by the coordinators of the “Tutorial Assistance to International Students” project, aims to facilitate the integration of students from different countries, providing them with essential information about the Psychology and Guidance Office (SPO) and the Multidisciplinary Support Team for Inclusive Education (EMAEI).
