Pestana Group explains educational community about CEF internships

This morning, Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz promoted a lecture to inform students attending year 12 of Vocational Courses about the rules for internships in companies.

The Vocational Course on Tourist Information and Entertainment (CEF62) promotes internships for 24 students in the various Pestana Group hotels, between June and July 2024, after selection interviews, lasting 210 hours. This student experience in the world of work is essential to complete the evaluation of CEF courses, and it is up to the regulatory entities to guide and evaluate this training experience.

The students of class CEF62, accompanied by teachers and some parents, participated today in the lecture led by Diana Freitas, from the Pestana Group's Human Resources Department, together with another monitor from the Group, which served to clarify the educational community about the tasks to be developed in an internship, in the reception, entertainment and catering sectors, as well as personal and professional skills, working hours, evaluation and strategy and vision of the largest hotel group in our country.

Parents and students asked their questions to the GP Human Resources monitors, having been informed about the desired intern profile, as well as the dynamics specific to the world of work in the hotel industry.
