Easter with more charm with a social lunch at the “Liceu”

As in previous years, Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz promoted, today, the traditional Easter lunch, which also marks the end of the second term of this school year.

This moment, always attended by the educational community, was also attended by the Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Technology, Jorge Carvalho, who, in his speech, recalled the increasingly low statistics on school dropout rates in the Region, the result of intense work to create a school for everyone. The president of the executive board, Ana Isabel Freitas, also thanked everyone for their collaboration and assured that Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz will continue to be an “inclusive school” with life projects for all students.

A note that stands out in this celebration lunch is the traditional decoration of the room and even of the school in general, with the refinement and creativity of a team of teachers, in particular the retired teacher Maria dos Santos, who has, year after year, presented everyone with decorations truly rich in innovation and genius, thus lending the entire gathering a unique charm.

Another highlight of the lunch are the traditional raffles with prizes awarded to five teachers, alluding to Easter.
