Conference – Operation of Communications in the area of Civil Protection
On January 24th, at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz, at 11:45 am, in the Dr. Jorge Moreira de Sousa Conference Room, the conference on the “Functioning of Communications in the area of Civil Protection” took place, by Eng. Paul Afonseca, Senior Technician at the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM.
This conference, organized by the Physics and Chemistry Experimental Sciences Club, aimed at enlightening students about the functioning of communications in the area of Civil Protection and contextualize the use of radio communications, mobile phones, satellite telephones and other telecommunications systems within the scope of civil protection.
