DRJ technicians explain the phases of an employment plan at "Liceu"

This morning, students from the different Education and Training courses at Jaime Moniz Secondary School took part in a conference on "Active Employment Techniques: the Interview and the Curriculum Vitae", with the Regional Youth Directorate's technicians Joana Ferreira and Andreia Nascimento as speakers.
The initiative is part of a partnership between the ESJM, through the Vocational Course Tourist Information and Animation (CEF6C2) and the DRJ, in order to increase the school's dissemination of the government institution's employment programmes, as well as the instruments for accessing the professional market.
The event, which was also open to the rest of the interested educational community, made young people attending a vocational course aware of the importance of having prior knowledge of job-search techniques and how to properly prepare for a job interview and draw up a CV. In an interactive way, both technicians explained to the students the various stages of a job plan, as well as the importance of personal organisation.
With concrete examples projected via video, Joana Ferreira and Andreia Nascimento demonstrated what to do and not to do in a job selection interview, the demands of the world of work and the attitudes that should be adopted and eliminated.
Students from the various CEF courses also took part in the presentation of the speakers, as well as in the debate to clarify any doubts.
