Humanitarian mission: make someone's dream come true!

Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz, through the Coordinators for the Extracurricular Activities , is presenting to the entire educational community the Make-A-Wish humanitarian initiative, which will take place between November and the end of the 1st term.

This mission aims to fulfil wishes for children and young people between the ages of 3 and 17 throughout Portugal with serious, progressive, degenerative or malignant illnesses, giving them a moment of strength, joy and hope.

Imbued with the spirit of unity and solidarity that characterises the Christmas season, each teacher can and should enrol their class in the sale of stars, which will be used to raise awareness, decorate and, at the same time, raise funds to make wishes come true. Each star is associated with a minimum donation of €1.
We would like to inform all interested teachers that they can register on the noticeboard in the teachers' room from 8 November. Each teacher should indicate their class, so as not to duplicate registration. They should also tell the coordinators the total number of stars they want.
