ExpoLiceu unveils cultural dynamism
Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz is increasingly establishing itself as an institution with a strong commitment to culture, in addition to formal education. In this sense, the development of extracurricular activities that contribute to the enrichment of students and help them define future life projects is becoming increasingly important.
To show students and the rest of the educational community the diversity of this cultural offer, between 9.30am and 1.30pm, the ESJM's Cultural Activities Coordinators, Carla Rodrigues and Teresa Rodrigues Almeida, are organising ExpoLiceu 2023/24, the 2nd Exhibition of Clubs, Groups and Projects.
In the student courtyard, the school community and the rest of the public will be able to get to know the diverse work and versatility of the institution's Clubs, Groups and Projects. These include: Clube de DancEn?gma e GAIVOTA; A Guitarra e os Cordofones Madeirenses; Clube de Ciências Experimentais de Física e Química; Visita de Estudo a Berlim; DIM/Editorial; Clube de Teatro “O Moniz” – Carlos Varela; Clube de Leitura – O Liceu; ES Feliz; O Clube Europeu; Projeto Solidário “A Voz do Aluno” and Projeto Conta-me Histórias.
According to the coordinators, this initiative aims to present the school's Clubs, Groups and Projects to students so that they can become aware of the activities carried out and so that they can register according to their interests.
